John Portelli

John Portelli is now retired from a career in journalism and marketing communications where writing had always been his major tool of communication together with photography. For over 25 years he ran his own communications consultancy in Malta and also found time to study Biblical theology and the basics of philosophy and archaeology. He considers it his turning point when he discovered the concepts of Ignatian Spirituality as well as the writings and thoughts of modern spiritual guides like Trappist Thomas Merton, Raniero Cantalamessa ofm-cap and Richard Rohr ofm-cap.
